How to set up your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
Every station site needs a Privacy Policy and Terms of Service before it can publish. Generate both in minutes, review them, and confirm they are accurate.
Radiocast Sites ·
Every station website needs a privacy policy and terms of service before it can be published. Radiocast Sites generates both from a few answers and the features your site uses, and you confirm that you've reviewed them.
Who is responsible for the policies?
Your station is the Operator of your site and is responsible for it. Radiocast Sites is only the hosting service. The generated documents say this clearly, and they link to the Radiocast Sites Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
How do you set them up?
- In the editor, open Settings → Legal pages.
- Enter the Operator's legal name, a contact email, and optionally an address and governing law.
- Set the minimum age for listener accounts.
- Add any extra paragraphs your station needs.
- Read both documents, then tick the confirmation.
What do the documents cover?
They follow what your site actually does:
- listener accounts and the sign-in cookie
- comments and live chat, and how they are moderated
- contact forms, song requests and talkback
- cookieless analytics
- Cloudflare Turnstile, if you turned it on
Why did my confirmation disappear?
If you change your details or switch a feature on or off, the text changes, so you need to review it and confirm again before publishing.
Once confirmed, the policies are published at /privacy and /terms on your site and linked in the footer. Next: publish your site.
Frequently asked questions
